New PC build

I was currently looking at some parts for a new small budget build. I here is what I came up with.
CPU AMD FX-4100
MOBO ASRock 960GM/U3S3
GPU SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7770
RAM 2x4gb team elite 1333MHz
PSU RAIDMAX RX-500AF 500 Watt power supply
HDD Western Digital Blue 1tb hard drive

Can some one please check over that and tell me some expected performance.

Expected performance on what? There's really no way to throw out a meaningful answer to that question without knowing what you're doing.

That's a pretty good build for gaming, but I'd strongly recommend going with an FX-6300 for another $20, as it's much faster in gaming than the FX-4100. You'll probably also need a newer motherboard to guarantee compatibility, using the 970 chipset.

Oh, and don't go with a Raidmax power supply. Absolutely no reason to get low-end equipment when you can get a Corsair CX430 for the same price: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139026

That Raidmax might be rated at 500W, but it's a very old design that's actually much closer to a modern 400W power supply. I just wouldn't bother with it.

The resolution of your monitor and what setting levels you'd accept are more important than individual games (720p Low detail BF3 is very different from 1440p Ultra detail BF3).

I re-did the build and came up with a little different plan. Here it is
CPU AMD FX-4100
MOBO ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
RAM 2x4gb Team Elite 1333MHz
GPU PNY Geforce GTX 650 Ti
HDD Western Digital Blue 1TB
PSU Cooler Master GX 450 Watt

My budget is $600 and here are the cost for the parts
I plan to do some gaming hoping to replace my xbox so that i dont have to buy an xbox one. It will also be used to surf the web and do some photoshop. I will be playing at 1366x768 or 720p to start then later I'll end up playing at 1920x1080
CPU AMD FX-4100 $100
MOBO ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 $79
RAM 2x4gb Team Elite 1333MHz $58
GPU PNY Geforce GTX 650 Ti $1130
HDD Western Digital Blue 1TB $70
PSU Cooler Master GX 450 Watt $45
DVD Sony Optiarc $35
CASE RAIDMAX Super Hurricane $40

This build's a little better in pretty much every way: a better PSU, a better CPU, a better GPU, and a better case (comes with front panel USB 3.0!):
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor ($119.99)
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43 ATX AM3+ ($69.99)
Memory: Wintec 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 ($53.48)
Storage: Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPMe ($65.63)
Video Card: HIS 7850 2GB Video Card ($164.99)
Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite (White) ($42.79)
Power Supply: Corsair CX430 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply ($44.99)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($18.99)
Total: $580.85, all from Amazon

Note that you have to buy the optical drive and FX-4300 as a specific combo, not separately; the link above has another link to the combo of CPU+optical drive. It's not much different from yours, actually, and you don't have to get the NZXT case either.

Note that there are $55 in mail-in rebates. I'm not sure if your budget accounts for them or not. If it does, you can buy a stronger GPU for this system.

i really want to get all my parts from the same place

if i order from amazon will all the parts come together or will i have to wait for boxes

I believe it depends on the circumstances. I can't recall if they tell you prior to checkout how many shipments are there or boxes they are coming from. You can go through the checkout workflow without having to commit though and see if it tells you prior to you finalizing your order.

for the newest build that i put on this thread that includes gtx 650 ti that comes out to be around 550 but i am also including taxes. So some of these suggestions cost more than $600. But remember i am hoping to get this so that i dont have to buy a xbox one or ps4. it will also be used as a home computer as well though and just please include taxes for these suggestions.

apparently newegg doesnt charge tax rates to my state. i did do the new plan by torn mind the only thing i changed was he gpu. i changed it for a 7850
