So i just built and setup my PC. It is an Amd Athlon 64 3200+ which idles between 31-38 Degrees Celcius. I think i read somewhere that those are good temperatures?

First problem was that after a few restarts my computer added a second floppy drive onto itself. I went into device manager and disable the second so that problem is solved.

Second problem is my hard drive is a 200gb seagate SATA and for some resaon my pc thinks its a removable drive. In my taskbar there is the icon for "Remove Hardware Safely" and when i click it, it is the model number of my hard drive.

Third Problem is i now have 2 pcs with Windows XP Home. I tried to setup a network with those Network setup disks you make in the Network Setup Wizard. But they didn't work.

Any help greatly appreciated :)

First off you temp for the cpu is good

the floppy drive issue is strange but I have seen it before on an older system i removed a floppy and it still saw it so i disabled it it worked fine
and you can use an external usb floppy fine as well

the harddrive showing up as external is strange really no suggestions I have never seen that

for the network forget about the set up disks go to my netwrok places> setupa home or small office network amke sure how the computer connect is correct and thier on the same workgroup
