The way I see it, it's always better to have someone learn to respect your car than just to get it from the start.
I'd rather that other people respect my driving skill than my car. At least the driving skill (such as it is) is something unique to me. Then again, I prefer road racing and AutoX as opposed to drag racing. Road racing comes more easily to me, drag racing is a lot harder than it looks.

You should be able to get your stock 1/4 time down to 15.3-15.4ish

Otherwise, I have no problem with anyone modding a caviler. I know a guy with a 91' Z24 Cav that runs 12s on his turbo setup. Its just hell trying to tune it though ;o

By the time you bolt all that stuff on you could probably find a good used Vette that would still eat it up and spit it out, plus it would be a Vette and not a Cavalier.

You know Curtis Walker? I got to see his Z24 at the J-Bash this year. It was at a 13.465 when I saw it though. He's been really pulling some good times since the end of July.

I still don't see the purpose in NOS. I think NOS in an everyday driver could get expensive. Do you race for money? Or is it the thrill or challenge building something only few can do?

Putting nitrous on my car is just going to be the cheap way into 2005 in which I plan to have a T3/T4 hybrid turbo on my car. As far as it being expensive, I think it's like about $50 for a bottle refill. I don't race for money, I race for the sheer fact that people would think, "Why the hell did I get beat by a Cavalier?"

is your sister hot? pics? 😀

your sister should learn to take financial responsibility for herself!
but as for the car.....sweet dude! 😀 i wish i had the know-how to do work on my car.......tune ups are pretty simple, but upgrades and all this new stuff wah!!
