That's kinda old news.

the overwhelming opinion in this thread is that no one has seen it before

as someone said, that is at a vw facotry. not only phaetons but everything. YOu order it, they bring it down and customize if for you, and youtake it away.

Been posted before with vids.

there has been a non circular one of those in jersey for like 10 years

Just now thought about it, but I have seen some more ghetto looking versions of those in NYC. Not circular with all of the fancy glass, but essentially the same thing.

This type of setup exists in Taiwan for over 10 years or more now I think. I definitely remember as a child when my parents utilized this type of parking at crowded places.

They've had similar in Japan and other countries for a while now.

You don't actually ride your car all the way up, you usually just park and lock it on a sled or carriage like thing that automatically carries the car away. Works pretty well, some of them have it set up so that if you text them on your way back they will have your car qued up so it can actually be faster than walking around a parking lot.

We have a few of those in America. I've seen pictures of them and read about them in a newspaper.

They cost too much for it to be worth it in most places except maybe NYC. It's just cheaper to buy the extra land.
