the highest form of encryption available is currently only available in the USA, so even if there WERE a contest for it, DPC's wouldnt be allowed! lol
 
Not quite true... we can use any form of encryption we want, Americans are just not allowed to export it to us... 😛
 
It's remarkable isn't it? They purposely make us stronger. It's kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy.
 
ACtually the export rules were 'softened' one or two years ago and since then all major browsers have been available in 128 standard worldwide. Personally I don't understand those laws at all, who is going to stop the Mafia or some 'rogue states' like Iraq from programming there own 1024 bit encryption system ? ALl it takes is a couple of educated programmers...
