So I'm driving through a 30 zone, doing 28 behind some d-bag in a little VW station wagon. We both take the next right turn, onto a road that is two lanes for about a thousand feet, then merges. The road is officially marked 35, most people do 40-45. VW goes for the first lane, I go wide and take the second, open it up. The guy realizes I'm trying to pass him, and floors it. We end up neck and neck doing 50+ approaching the merge point. I give up, because we've run right up behind the next vehicle ahead of us, and end up stuck behind the VW... who goes back to a placid couple MPH under the speed limit.

Cliffs: VW driver is a colossal prick.

Conclusions:
1) Both of us were speeding
2) You are not supposed to interfere with passing
3) If I'd had a G, I would've smoked his ass.

There's a contest at a local Mazda dealership. Prizes are as follows.
1) $25,000 cash
2) 2011 Mazda 6 (MSRP ~$23,680)
3) 3 gold coins
4) $100 cash

The car is probably the four cylinder edition, the V6 would go for another 5-6 grand.

The invite I got was a winner... so what the hell, I guess I get something.

Let's see... vacation for the first week of July. That'll mean taking off 5, 6, 7, and 8. Thus, I'll have about eight or nine days off.

Dell has decided they have a service appointment at my house from 1-5 PM this afternoon.

They never emailed me. They never called me, until today, at 10 AM, to say the appointment is today.

I can't use online tech support, because my service tag is at home, and because XPS isn't covered online.

They hung up from the phone when I said I couldn't provide my service tag.

Guess I need to find out if it was a live call or a robocall that my sister answered this morning, and get my service tag. *sigh* I'm really tempted to just say fuck it and let them screw around, and call when I get home.
