But you should wait for Bulldozer just because Intel will drop SB price
You can wait forever on building a new computer.
Bulldozer is supposed to be out in June...
That was my plan, but if Bulldozer doesn't at least equal SB in performance, there will be no price drops.
ICF, buy the computer whenever you want one. Then don't read new consumer hardware news for six months.

the price drop will come regardless of the actual performance of Bulldozer, just because Intel can beat down AMD
I said don't look at hardware news for six months. I'm still within six months of my last build. Actually... I kinda stopped giving a shit, but that's another matter entirely.[/QUOTE]
That is my situation to some extent. I still have an interest in computers, but I don't see the need to upgrade every 3 years any more. The only reason I am even contemplating upgrading is because the main components are effectively free for me. If I had to pay for all of the components, I'd probably hold out another year or so.
Rumor is that AMD is pushing it back to September. I'm wondering if we'll see a paper launch at E3 and then widespread availability by September.
humm, apparently pushed back to July...
funny how this place links rumour source to anandtech but I can't find it on anandtech

ahahahahahahahha
refund
ahahahahahahahhaha
I can't find a calendar on their website to say when the add/drop period ends for the summer courses, but that is not surprising either.
Their policy is to not refund the $30 registration fee. Accordingly, I am not dropping the courses myself, I want to get them to force me out of the courses, so I can more ably demand that the fee be returned to me.
