Finally dropped to 42%, after about 5 hours of sitting around.

Alarm is set, Shoot Me is installed. Exactly one day elapsed. Aiming for 40 hours!
Better bring my cord along.

And that's about it for the night, because it's late, and I'm gonna feel like crap in the morning.

That puts it at 32 hours for 60% of the charge. The consumption rate has really dropped off, 3% used total in the last 13 hours, which makes me suspect there's an error in the metering.

I was originally planning to wait until the winter to build a new PC, but the fact that Ivy Bridge has been delayed until next year makes me think I should just go ahead and build one. I'm guessing SB still beats Bulldozer.

I just hate having these new components (and $600+ worth of Amazon cards) laying around while waiting.

But you should wait for Bulldozer just because Intel will drop SB price :biggrin:

ICF, buy the computer whenever you want one. Then don't read new consumer hardware news for six months.
