Mouse started working. Creation of K's shared folder failed, error message is cryptic and unhelpful.

K is gone. Completely vanished from the list of hard drives.

So either my brand new drive, just after filling it with my entire HD collection, has already failed; or there's something wrong with the port that first J, and now K, have been using.

I believe the preferred answer is the motherboard having issues, because the data loss would be... enormous.

It's the same sort of problem I was getting with J... so apparently, that it happened after the server was transported thirty miles is a coincidence, the drive isn't flawed, the motherboard's onboard RAID ports are the problem.

I finally figured out how to set the sharing permissions! Now I can make changes from other locations! Organizing and cleaning the files just became a billion times easier.

I hate headphones, and earphones. I use them by necessity, but I do have a nice pair of Beyerdynamic DTX800's, and a set of J-Labs earphones.
