Got it. 35 is max, only 15 are enrolled. That's helpful.

Also, I have Friday mornings scheduled off from work. I'll see if that can be reversed in some way, because apparently, it's just three Fridays, out of... six or seven?

I think my lack of Sharepoint 2010 experience will doom me. I think that overall, it did go well and even though I didn't know the answer to a couple of questions, I did know the answer to many that seemed to surprise them. Regardless, one look at my resume shows that I know how to run an IT environment no matter which obscure detailed question I might miss, so I don't think I humiliated myself. I don't think I'll get it but it was great practice and I got along with their team well -- none were assholes, which makes it easier.

Another question was: "Have you done any reg hacks on your Sharepoint servers?"

I responded "I can't remember doing anything specific like that. Do you have some recommendations?"

He said "Well the Sharepoint servers have problems resolving localhost."

I said "Ah, you mean the loopback reg hack -- yes, I do have that installed."

I think that counts as a "correct." :awe:

The question that pissed me off dealt with virtualizing SQL. I told them I was pretty paranoid about doing that in a production environment. He said he understood and asked why you shouldn't virtualize SQL. I mentioned taking care to disable the array controller's write cache and then he asked "What else?" Obviously the answer is Disk I/O and I knew it, but I thought he was trying to point something out specific to SQL.

And there's why it's practice. Besides, they have to understand that interviews are a major pain for a lot of people.

They don't typically expect you to know everything. But as I look back over the interview in my head, I think I messed up on some of the other questions too.
