I originally tried to install the hardware card into a server with a Windows base OS with VMWare Server running on it, with the idea being that the base OS would DVR while the other HTPC functions would reside in a VM. Didn't work with Windows 2003 and I haven't tried it again since going with 2008 R2.

They're allegedly "providing" everything we need. My guess is we'll each get a notepad with the "logo" for our new culture/values (yes, they have a logo).

My replacement in the server team was tasked with making the logo pop-up on everyone's PC. Not at login and not as wallpaper -- literally, he was supposed to make it pop up ONCE in the middle of the day. I know because he couldn't figure out how to do it and I had to show him. I said "WTF?!?! What is the point of making it appear ONE TIME for a few seconds?" He ignored my question.
