Well, the new tires do not appear to be slippery at all, and in fact, they look... used. The body of them is dull instead of shiny, there's a lot of dust/dirt on the outsides, et cetera. Braking was the same, acceleration was the same.
 
I encountered... four cops? One of them with full lights and siren going, doing about 60 through a 30.

Oh, and I caught a bee. Found him when I closed the windows, and he went nuts against the rear glass. Must've been snagged while I was cruising around.

I can't find his little corpse, but after a severe pummeling of the C pillar, I do believe he's dead.
 
what the hell is a fuel perk?

A Fuel Perk is what a grocery store in the north east, Giant Eagle, uses so you can get discount gas. Essentially, you buy so much stuff in the store, you ge so much off gas and it adds up. I'm not sure how high it goes, but the most I've ever had was $2.00 off a gallon.
