I'm now thinking I'll buy a cheap bench, bar, and weights. Take a small bathroom scale to the store, verify the weights are accurate, then stack the weights, the bar, and myself atop the bench. If the bench creaks or worse, I'll find yet another plan.
 
The weights and bar combined should be a 300 pound set, toss on myself (125), and a few 45 plates (135), and the bench will get tested under 560 pounds.
 
So yes, that means probably a flat bench, but whatever, it'll be cheap, and then down the road if I decide yes, I do need incline, but not decline, or I do want decline, or it needs to be full 90 incline, or... you get the picture. I can revisit it later.
