Also, the snow is not being blown, nor therefore is it a driving type, but the rate of snowfall is now at blizzard status in my opinion. This is incredible. I hate shoveling this stuff, I hate being cold, but I do love seeing the snow come down.

There is a conclusion to be drawn there. BIGGER SNOWBLOWER!

Anyways, already found the track to sprocket ratio, and the reverse of it. For this case... the RPM of the sprocket would be higher, so multiply the track RPM by track to sprocket... and voila, 252.45 RPM.

Thus, I'd say, using all these assumptions still, 250 RPM for a top speed drive. Then have perhaps a 200, 150, 100, and 50. 50 RPM would accordingly be about 1.2 MPH, or 1.76 feet per second. That's a little fast for deep snow, except for the relatively limitless power of a V8 to drive the augers and impeller.

50 RPM on the sprocket also comes out to be 13.1 RPM on the track, which means 104 feet per minute. Yeah, that's a little on the fast side.

*sigh* The school is closing at 2PM. Are you guys fucking SERIOUS? It's been snowing for just over an hour, and there's an inch of snow on the ground. Inch of snow per hour is a benchmark for everything's fucked. If I were actually at campus, 2 PM would be when I were leaving normally. After six hours on campus, that'd be, oh, six inches of snow. I wouldn't be able to get out.

As for financial aid, I have a response a total of perhaps three business hours after the email was sent "You are all set.", and indeed, the finaid award has returned. It hasn't been applied to the bill yet, but that's not really expected. If it's here, it's done. So Financial Aid defied the UML rule of fail.

I'd guess since it says "max RPM", it can be variable... but it still needs a transmission to have reverse gearing.

The design calls for six forwards and two reverse gears, now slated for 30 and 60 RPM (at the sprocket) for the reverse, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, and 180 for the forwards.

The reverse gears need to sync with some of the forwards gears, so that it can spin on a point.

That means it requires two drive levers, so that it can be run independently. They'll both need to be held down, it can't be done by interlocks, because that would eliminate one of the machine's rotational directions.

You have 8GB of RAM. And if you are planning to purchase them and hold them indefinitely until you build your next computer, I don't think that's a good plan.

Well, I was planning on possibly using it in my HTPC for now. Still debating.

Oops, forgot my lunch in the oven for about 90 minutes. It takes only about 25 minutes to cook.
