It's just unnecessary. It doesn't tell me anything I don't know, doesn't make the question/answer any more clear to me, and will take longer to create than a standard list.

I usually just enable all the cheat modes, no heat, no damage, infinite ammo, then build a mech with 0.1 armor all over and massive firepower. It's hilarious.

My favorite in Mercenaries was the Fafnir. With the armor cut, it carried two heavy gauss rifle, two PPC's, and I think four ER large lasers. Light mechs would get knocked over, and one-hit KO's weren't all that uncommon.

I used to do that, now I just stand in one spot, since my "short range" weapons are still 600 or 800 meters. Too lazy to run at them.
