New nVidia nForce Drivers

Hello all:

I have an A8N-SLI and have all the factory shipped drivers installed, should I install the latest nVidia's over the top or uninstall first?

Driver Installation Hints

* "Download Accelerator" utilities should be disabled when downloading any drivers.
* Do not run virus protection software in the background while installing the drivers. This prevents the driver from configuring itself properly.
* Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.

if they are the chipset drivers then only remove the chipset drivers....You can leave the display drivers in take as far as I know...

Yes should be safe,I would only uninstall the Nvidia display driver if I was updating it to a new driver version, which means you would have to be using a Nvidia graphics card in the first place.

These are chipset drivers, not display drivers.

But I found my answer here anways, but thanks guys.
