New NVIDIA beta drivers version 40.72 now available (10/3/02)

i get a NVQTWEAK or something like that error when i start up with these drivers and the 40.41, but no any others. Anyone know why?

Krk3561,
This is because NVIDIA uses a Media Control Center instead of the Quicktweak control panel. If you uninstalled your drivers, it should remove the nvQwkTwk entry. If you installed the newer drivers on top of the older drivers, you will get that message. Which windows OS are you running?

Create a registry file and insert this into the file. It should take care of your problem:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"NvCplDaemon"=-

These drivers are just like the 40.71's and don't shown the title images within the "Display Properties" and the properties box itself is very bright and difficult to read...dunno what the performance is like. Oh yeah it also says in the properties that my AGP setting is Currently 8x with FW. Yeah right.... lol
