Now if we can just get them to simply the ingredients list so that they can't call 15 different things sugar and stop the whole if they are all under 2% (or something like that) they claim it's sugar free!! What the hell...

This feels like such a no-brainer I'm amazed its taken this long to become a thing.

Combine it with a "standard minimum" serving size (If discrete items in package = 1 item; if jar 1 TBSP; if Liquid = 1 cup) and we're all set.

Nothing like looking at a jar of peanut butter and seeing a serving size of 1 TSP. God damn no one eats 1 tsp of peanut butter!
well alot of us eat 1 tsp of peanut butter, i like to get 1 tsp of peanut butter and eat it slowly as i eat a cup of coco pebbles at the same time, (or same with cheesecake) really i dont count calories often and sometimes eat 6000 calories in a day, but most of the time i have a six pack 😛

with chips i always calculate the whole bag just in case i eat (*the whole bag at once) and make sure that even if i eat the whole bag i will be ok sodium wise. (thats why i get the giant late july organic bag from costco)

I was tomorrow years old when I knew the difference between the 2.
what's the difference?

Serving size is what you're supposed to eat. Portion size is the amount you choose to shovel down your throat until your chair breaks from the strain.

i.e. for ice cream Serving size is 4 oz, half a cup. Typical portion size is a triple scoop, then five more trips to the fridge to finish off the carton.

No. But it sounds a little like California and their Prop. 65 warnings. You would be surprised what Amazon will not ship to CA. Most likely because the manufacturer has not put a Prop. 65 label on it.

Are you saying people are eating the packaging?
