This camera allows saving photos in uncompressed format, of course you need a good card for that.
 
I got this camera back when they still had a rebate and the MS xmas deal was still on ($260 final). This camera is amazing and it's the same basic camera as the more expensive 950. The 8x10 pictures my HP 930 prints off are detailed, sharp and beautiful.

I found Steve's Digicam site to have a good balanced review on it.

I highly suggest the a rechargeable combo pack at Thomas Distributing. This thing eats normal batteries like crazy. The maha's charge up within 3 hours. Buy an extra 4 maha AA's and you'll never have to worry about batteries again. And idealy a 256mb CF card from This Deal would mean you never would have to switch cards. Make sure to pick up a CF reader too. The serial port transfers are near useless.
