I just remember that the 2.41 drivers messed alot of people up and me to. Are the new 2.45 drivers safe? And won't mess me up? Thanks

uninstalling the last set wasn't so bad. didn't have any problems until one day that i lost all ability to play sounds.

using them right now for a7n8x deluxe and from what i can tell there better then the one that came on the asus cd.the sound seemed a little bit better which i like, and i've have not had a crash yet so they seem stable, but then again i've only had it since yesterday

up. Well I put my processor back to it's stock speed 1.83ghz. And it ran cs fine, I only played for like 15 minutes though. It usually took about 5-10 minutes to freeze. It's not my vid card because it was still overclocked. I'm not leaving the processor unclocked because I just upgraded from a 2100 oced to 2700 2.13ghz, and so far it is kicking the bartons ass. Thanks let me know what you think.

the only problem i had was that they killed my usb on my A7n8x deluxe, windows 2k. no big deal, all i had to do was find a ps/2 mouse and go to asus website and download their usb2.0 driver and install it seperatly in device manager

I installed them last night when i assembled my machine, and didnt have any problems whatsoever for the few hours it was running.

I haven't installed them yet because you have to uninstall Service Pack and that just plain sucks. It would take me all night to re-download it. (Dam dial-up)

I'll have to wait .... unless there is a way around it?

Very glad to hear that. I have been contemplating installing them on my A7N8X.

I did a fresh install of XP about a week ago and used the 2.45... everything has been great so far. This is with a A7N8X MB.
