most likely not as quiet as seagates, but what im more interested is in how fast the maxtor is compared to wd's raptor and hitachi's sata' hds.

1. Is this a NATIVE SATA drive?
2. Is the warranty info accurate? this is an oem drive, and even the retail drive I just got back from maxtor on rma only came with a one year warranty.

They also say it is a three year manufacturer warranty so we are good on that point, still trying to find if it is NATIVE SATA or not........
