I've just purchased over $300 of products from NewEgg from what I read of all the suggestions and comments on how great NewEgg is. I rec'd the package today and I was thoroughly inpressed with the type of packaging they used. I was also inpressed at how fast it was delivered to me living on the east coast. I've never even heard of NewEgg until I came to this forum and I'm glad that I did. I just wanted to throw in my two cents because I was mainly a pricewatch customer until now. I've also seen where some people on this forum suggesting MWAVE, how are they on customer service? Thanks again!

I'm not saying that I'm totally dropping pricewatch, I meant that is where I mainly did my purchasing from.

Newegg is great all around. When you look for buying computer related items, even if it's $2 or $3 more with newegg, their service will be very good.

i meant...why were you a pricewatch customer...

and you should drop pricewatch alltogether.

pricewatch sucks. That is the general concensus here. I never buy from any vender in pricewatch. I only use it as a pricing measure. heh

I stopped using price watch years ago, when I discovered Newegg, and you know, I'd almost forgotten about it.

Yeah I find alot of their pricing to be confusing, it might say one thing then after you go to it the price has changed, with NewEgg they are just straight prices. I watch tech tv and the screen savers used to talk about pricewatch alot. News travels slow over here to the east coast. :) Has anyone ever used MWAVE?

I use Newegg unless there's an amazing deal elsewhere (and only then if the reseller checks out ok on ratings sites) or they don't have what I'm looking for. Don't see a reason to shop anywhere else, really.

I'm the same way. I heard about newegg from these forums some time ago (seems like newegg used to be called something else?), and have never looked back. I know it's not much, but I've easily ordered $1500 worth of stuff from newegg over the past 3 years, and I have yet to get anything in more than 2 days.

Newegg just simply rocks. It's how a business should be, and us computer geeks are lucky to have them on our side.

I strongly agree! I found out really quick about their awsome customer service and shipping habits. I will be returning for more business in about a month to spend another $400. I believe my search is over. Thanks again guys for making great suggestions.
