I picked these up today, MUCH better (either) than the new NIN IMO.
Checkout the Mudvayne review at RS, they said its only for "aging burnouts and the angriest of young'ns". ROFL!
What I have to be an aging burnout (not just a burnout, an AGING burnout! ROFL) or a angry young'n to listen to the music I like now, because Rollingstone told me so?
I found that so hilarious. I'm 23 but hardly a burnout, or aged.. and I might be a bit tempermental youngin.. but I like hard rock, I dont buy it to muse over the lyrics day and night in my parents basement.
Sheesh.
I havent had a chance to listen to both yet, but FINALLY some HOPE for music with these two releases. I was giving up hope.
I have every other Mudvayne release, and bought PR's first release.
Both worthy choices, I recommend both if you like to crank hard rock.
If you like these two bands, I'd suggest my old mainstay bands that I love: In Flames and Fear Factory. You WON'T be disappointed!
