NEW MTR LINEUP IS FIXED - RACE STARTS 0100 GMT FEB 11TH

If it isn't one thing then its another. It looks like when I was sortiing the names on the reconstruct I must have done a COPY instead of a CUT when I was placing "FifthFactor" and therefore ended up putting him on two teams. Really been a bad day. Lost a 1800+ XP system plus another TeAm Smokeball member lost his P4 1.6G rig and now this. After I spent hours entering all of the teams on Soni's Race Program, now this. tisk tisk tisk

I'm going to try to do this right one more time. This time I'm going to use an accounting balance routine to make sure the teams total equal the same total of all the racers. Should have done that the first time. Stupid mistake. Sorry. Maybe we can get a good start tomorrow.

RACE IS POSTPONED 24 HOURS DUE TO POOR BERKELEY BANDWIDTH.

OKs Q had around 500 WUs at 0100 GMT Feb 10th, I have 21, and there is no telling the total number in other Qs and caches.

ConfusedBW is unable to handle the MTR at this point in time. He has asked me to handle this the best way I thought.

There have been issues:

1. Migroo is out
2. Rattledagger v2 and v3 that were left out of the last lineup are now in.
3. Slahr Dzhe who checked in too late to make the race is now in.
4. wirelessenabled offered to fill in if he could help is now in.

I have redone the lineups completely. I will have to spend a goodly amount of time rearranging the lineups on Soni's MTR Race Site...this I will do. CHANGE in START DATEThe race will begin tonight at 1900 CDT (0100 GMT - February 11th). That means the numbers reported at that time will be the starting numbers. If I don't see everybody making a complete dump I will postpone the start date an additional 24 hours. This action, if necessary, will be much like a false start in the olympics...we must all get off together (and no smart remarks about that either...ha).

Due to the bandwidth problems we have been experiencing lately the race will have to start and end on a weekend. The race is for five (5) weeks. It will end at 0100 GMT on March 17th.

Somebody seems to like to use the median as nice means of complromise so I will also agree with 5 weeks time.

Remember if you set it to start on the 10th then it will run numbers tonight and anyone who has done their dump in the last 18 hours will have it counted in tonights stats. I would suggest putting the 11th as the start date so that counted production will start 6 hours from now but our first days stats will be tomorrow. (remember Soni is on a different time zone that is why those times seem a little wierd to us in the states)

You may be referring to how to enter the dates in Soni's program...I have double-checked with Soni and I have done them correctly.


Notice: I have decided to end the race on March 17th at 0100 GMT. So we will have a five (5) week race!
