New MSN Messenger

[Fritzo]

I just got an automatic update to MSN Messenger that allows you to text cell phones. I always thought text messenging was the dumbest form of communication ever invented, but it's starting to grow on me (much like a fungus).

Is this a new feature or am I just slow on the draw?

I used to feel the same way about text messages Fritzo, but I find it faster and easier than calling someone at times! 😱

I've never used that particular function, but I think Yahoo's also allows you do to that.

We're being encouraged to switch over to MSN messenger at my office due to integration with Outlook. So far it seems pretty nice. I've really grown to love the lastest versions of Yahoo's messenger though. I love the fact that Launchcast is integrated into it and (while I've only used it limitedly) the voice-messenging on the latest version has great quality and the ability to leave voicemails is a great next step. A friend of ours just moved to Russia for a year and she's been using it to communicate back and forth with my wife quite a bit.
