New movie "Crash"

You know, I was so happy to have found someone local that's as into movies as I am, and we went and saw "Crash"...and I only thought it was slightly above average. I tend to respect RT's critic's average...and it's at 7.1, while I would put it probably at like a 6.5. The acting wasn't an issue, as I thought that the cast was perfect, with most actors playing outside of their typical roles and some of them doing so extremely well. But I won't elaborate too much as this isn't the place to talk about movies that seriously 😛

Still a good viewing, just not great.
 
Great movie. I didnt care for some humor they tried to tie into the movie here and there (i.e. the whole Luda thing..) which made it less realistic, however it was overall a great movie.

It felt similar to Magnolia and perhaps even close to that tom cruise movie where he is a hitman (one of my fav).

I will be getting DVD of this 🙂

Don Cheadle's one of my favorite actors. The guy's damn good. I'm glad he's moving on to directing and producing movies now.
 
no real insights. just a movie that wants an oscar or thinks its more educational than it really is. oh talk about race...so scary... so edgy...
comedians do a better job.

QFT on both counts. (I never think to say "Iranian" tho--"Persian" rolls off the tongue so much better 🙂)

I do agree with raynorwolfcastle tho. Plot twists were super obvious... but still well executed. And I did get the impression that the movie thought it was a bit smarter than it was... good insight whoever said that before...
