New Mountain Bike!

Ive been road biking ever since selling my old Rockhopper a couple years back but the urge to hit the singletrack bit me once again, so I picked up this 2001 Fuel 80 for $450 from some guy locally. I upgraded the front shock from a Judy C to a SID XC Hydrair ($100 on ebay 🙂 ) and next up are the rims (need to take the reflectors off).

Sweetness

My old Rockhopper was a hardtail, it was a totally sweet ride but I wanted this one to be a FS. No real reason why, just wanted something different. I tend to get more bike than I need. Ive got a Trek 5000 road bike and the farthest Ive gone on it is about 60 miles in a day. I dont plan on doing anything super crazy on this one, but it rides real nice and smooth.

Now you just need some disks!

You mean Promax doesn't make high quality, long lasting brakes? 😉

It's on the agenda, though to be honest, the Promax are functioning much better than I would have given them credit for.
