Just got a Gigabyte 7N400Pro mo.bo. Think I messed up installing the OS. Partitioned off 5 gig and then installed and now the only way I can get it to boot into XP is with the cd. Should I just start over and do a new install and if so how is the best way to do this?

Yeah if you don't have anything important on the drive, just start over. Pop in the cd and start over. Boot off the disc and away you go.

I like to have more than 5 gigs for the os install. Then again i play alot of games.... I have 160 gigs and have 12 for the OS.

OK, new install. Should I even partition any space off. I have an 80Gb WDse as master and a 40gb as slave on this box. I want the OS on the 80 gig hd. Will XP automatically put the OS on the master?
