I have a ECS N-Force 570 slit-A vers5.1 motherboard with a Core duo-E4400, 7900gs nvidia and l cannot get this ah heck to post......UNLESS I install my pentium d 920 then it posts fine.
i have rma'ed the motherboard and processor same problem.
Have tried ocz gold pc2 6400 and Pqi ddr2667 same results.
Tried antec and Ultra power supplies 500 and 600 watt
Moterboare is on the bench not in a case.
ECS say that the processor is compatible with motherboard but im beginning to wonder?
If anyone has any ideas they may be able to save whats left of my hair.
