New Morpheus question

I just DLed the new preview version of Morpheus and I'm not impressed. Is there any way to see what bitrate the files were ripped in? I'm fussy and won't go below 190 min and I don't want to DL something for 6 hrs on a modem only to find it's ripped at 112 or something.

Bearshare (also on Gnutella) provides bit rates for most MP3 files (roughly 70%).

I don't know what is up with morpheus, but I just connected and have some stuff downloadying right now, with the old version of morpheus.

Heather, have you tried Load Nodes and Load Config in the File menu? I had to do that before I connected. Still sucks though 🙁

ok guys, this new GUI is disgusting. I can't delete through it, find more sources manually... in fact, NOTHING is manual anymore~!!! 🙁

I hate how a failed dl can not be salvaged and I have to find it all over again~!!

The release from March 1st was totally buggy. It's the one that is under 700kB. The new one is nowhere near as buggy, and it is 707kB. This one works a lot better even though it's still version 1.331. 🙂 No more messing with nodes only to find slowdownloads! The search on this less buggy one is fast!

What I finally did was right-click on the Morpheus symbol in the tray and click on "Auto Connect". That worked. 🙂

Frankly I've downloaded the "new" and the "new & improved"- all I can say is, it still bites a big one!
