I just bought an LG L227 and a 4850 video card. Finally got it all set up, and this is a huge upgrade from my OLD sceptre 17" monitor.
However, I set it to 1680 x 1050, and it doesn't seem to be correct, which I thought was the resolution this is supposed to be set at. My desktop doesn't fit onto the screen, and I have to "scroll" down to see the bottom of the screen, then back up to see the top etc. WHat am I doing wrong?
Edit: Setting it to 1440 x 900 seems to make the screen fine. Is it because of the connection I'm using that 1680 x 1050 doesn't work? I'm not using DVI.
Edit x 2: Obviously noob to this. Could somebody link me the cord I SHOULD be using to connect this? Preferably from monoprice?
