New Mobo/ Win Re Install

I am getting a new Mobo, and want to re format my HD. Can I still use my same copy of Win XP that I activated on the same HD I'm going to Reformat/Install. Do I need to do anything special

windows will let you know if you have to re-activate or not. they dont give you a new key, your old one is still good. they just give you a string of numbers you type in. took me less than 5 mns. the one time i had to do it.
