I just bought a new mobo because I wanted to upgrade my RAM, and my old one only supported RDRAM. I bought a combo deal so I got a new processor with it. The mobo is an ECS and i got an AMD Athlon 2600 CPU. I am pretty sure my problem is not because of the hardwear, it is probably because of something I did. I installed my new mobo per the instructions in the manual, and everything that was plugged into my old mobo is plugged into my new one in the correct spot. The first time it loaded up it wanted to go into bios, so I went it but exited without saving anything. Next time it was saying that it couldnt read my keyboard when it tried to start up, so I went into bios and enabled the USB keyboard feature. Then I restarted again and it said that windows could not load properly, which it said many many times when I restarted it. So I went into bios and changed a few things, not exactly sure what I changed now because I cannot even get back into bios. Now when I start it up all it does is turn on, the busy light stays on the whole time, and nothing comes on the screen. I have tried using the Windows XP CD to try and get it to boot to soemthing and nothing worked. I was wondering if anyone knew a definite way to get back into bios or if anyone knows what I probably did wrong whether it be plugging something in wrong or changing something in bios. Thanks.
