I need a Athlon motherboard that can to both pc133 and DDR and can handle my 1.2ghz plus be upgradable.

suggestions?

the only one that i can think of off the top of my head is the ecs k7s5a, not the best board out there but it is pretty darn cheap (it will only take 1GB of ram, cuz it only has two slots of each type of memory that hands 512MB DIMMs, it does support all current athlon xp processors)
i don't think there are any others that are widely availible...
(i could be wrong tho)

Another vote for K7S5A unless you want overclocking, if you do, look for Asus A7A266-E, it does have limited ocing but I have yet to see it really anywhere. Good luck!!!

That doesnt mean that you can use both kinds at the same time. you either use one or the other.

Yep, running at 133 and 266 fsb simultaneously = conflict

its possible that he may only have pc133 and wants to have his system working without having to purchase new memory. that's why I went with the k7s5a as a cheap alternative to my dead msi pro2-a

I didn't want to spend $200 on 512megs of ddr when I already have 512 of pc133 (which I bought when ram prices were half of current value)

it's an okay board for its price, my main complaint with it is the location of the onboard ide ports, have to wrap the cables around the video card.
