Thanks guys. I'm REALLY hoping that I don't have to try it again, but if I do have to I will give this a shot...

Well, I've got 2003 up and running now without a hitch. It runs perfectly, is very snappy, and I believe that 2000 may be part of my past now and not the present or future, so I guess I don't have to worry about this problem anymore. Thanks for the ideas though !

So how did you fix it? Did the old drivers work, or something else?
