I'm building a new system with goodies that I am picking up at the Hot Deals forum. I'm getting some great deals but I ran into a problem tonight that has go me confused. Here's the rig so far:
Antec SX830 300-Watt ATX Workstation Tower Case
ECS K7S5A Motherboard w/AMD Duron 950 Boxed CPU
VISIONTEK Xtasy 5632 GEFORCE2 GTS-V
I was originally running with my old V3 3000 while waiting for my new card and everything was working fine. Today, my GTS-V was delivered so I pulled out the V3 and installed the new card but when I booted up, no video and a beep code telling me that there was some kind of conflict. When I pull out the GTS-V and reinstall the V3 everything works fine. Someone suggested that I uninstall the old V3 drivers before I boot up with the GTS-V but I'm not sure how to completely delete the old drivers.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I would hate to have to send the GTS-V back (with a 15% restocking fee :Q
