New Missions for L4D?

I play with some pretty good to very good people most of the time...only catch is that we'll expect you to listen to exactly what we tell you to do till you get to know map stategies backwards, & yes, you need a mic.

We are a fun group.

But a very competitive one.
Obviously, with people we play with a lot, no instructions are needed...we all know exactly what needs to be done.

But i find the average L4D player doesn't really understand strategies & honestly, how to win.

So that's where the following orders comes in...it doesn't take long before you understand what works in the game & what doesn't & no advice is needed

There are 3 options, essentially, for L4D:

1. get raped
2. take the initiative to do the commanding*
3. follow the commands*

Obviously people are going to prefer 2 or 3 over 1, and considering not everyone is fit to do 2, 3 really is the only option unless you can somehow enjoy getting raped.

That being said, it does sound like a fun group in L4D terms.

*note that 2 and 3 give your team the best chance of not being raped, however it doesn't guarantee you will not be raped. Not doing 2 and 3 however WILL guarantee it.

Yes it was! I had hours of fun like that as well!

I stopped playing for a while cause of all the path blocking. Theyre just stupid exploits that make the game less fun for everyone but the one dick doing the blocking.

No. I am too busy playing games and checking Anandtech forums. I am a very simple person, I only go on about 6 websites total. My time is spent playing video games and sometimes working out so that I don't become overweight and die from playing video games. I am sorry if it inconvenienced you to post in this thread, I will look out for your best interest next time I post.

That was patched months ago. You can block the path but the object will de-spawn after a few seconds. Many items can no longer be moved. The tank cant even use cars to block. supposedly.....

Yeah, they fixed the blocking issue a long time ago, it can slow survs down, however the blocking objects will eventually disappear freeing up your path.

Not sure how that is conceded. I was not being at all sarcastic. I actually come home from work and play L4D, CS:Source, and TF2 till 11 at night before I go to bed. I don't have a problem admitting that, cause I don't think there is anything wrong with it. And, yes, I only go on six sites. 1 porn, 1 sports, 2 email, anandtech, and hf. So excuse me for trying to get my information from a site that is here to provide information.

And no it is not overreacting. Every effen thread has someone like you who finds it necessary to educate people to search engines. If everyone just googled everything, what would be the point of coming here? I asked to the question not only to get the answer, but to spark thoughts on the subject. Maybe, just maybe, people might have cool ideas or such. If you don't want to answer my question, then don't answer it, don't tell me to google it.

THAT, I also hate the google bitches, maybe it's not just about the info but sparking some interesting conversation on the subject.

There are some instances where people need to be told google is their friend, this one, and most instances in the forum, are NOT.

Besides, if the answer is so simple, it shouldn't take you a big effort to actually help the guy
