Wow, the AT forums are not too much into designed products. 🙂 As I said I like it. I'm kinda surprised you guys think it is ugly and most of you have the MX500/700 which when looked at from the front right looks like a mantis.
Compucase whatever (SL3700): very well designed.
Evercase E4252: very well designed.
Logitech mice: very well designed.
AT forums: very well designed (still waiting for low-contrast color schemes, though)
My Respironics CPAP machine: very well designed.
That mouse: WTF!

I was thinking to myself as I read the post, at least with this new design they couldn't screw up more than Logitech's recent direction. I used to always buy Logitech, they had these great sculpted mice that fit your hand well - only now they changed to these stupid little lozenges that fit either hand because they don't try to fit hands at all. Furthermore they went smaller and are now difficult for me to use with my big hands. Anyway, I click the link and boom a stupid lozenge and with some useless stripe to stand in for actual design and shape.

Anyway, if it wasn't clear already, I agree with the "it's ugly" majority.

barfo, i think they mixed up the MS order with the Apple order.

I want something bigger and more ergonomic, not streamlined for the wind tunnel, wake up you morons.

For a second there, I thought it was a hamburger...then yes...it looked like a certain female part. What were they thinking?

Incidentally, every product that is manufactured is "designed". Some of them are "designed" not to be among the upper (perhaps lower?) echelon of gawd-awful pug-fugly. This is one such item.
