A. Tampering with evidence consists of destroying,

with intent to prevent the apprehension, prosecution or

to obtain an abortion, of a fetus that is the result of
criminal sexual penetration or incest with the intent to
destroy evidence of the crime.

Did anyone read the bill? The intent of the law was to keep the perpetrator and others from forcing a woman to get an abortion after a rape or incest.
