Not all Core 2 Duo CPUs are Conroe.

Is anyone pushing a Merom on a desktop MB?
The potential for OCing these chips looks very nice, but the MB options seem to be a little limited. :roll:

There's really no point in Merom on the desktop, with the way that the Allendales & Conroes are overclocking.

Isn't the lappy chips going to be a different socket than the desktop chips? Like how AMD is now doing with there turions. The PM's was also a different socket.
