Hi everyone, just started cracking rc5 packets a few night ago and now I'm proud to be a part of Team Anandtech. I wish I coulda joined earlier, never knew it was so much fun watching your cpu work. This P3 933 will be working 24/7 from now on.

It's a P3 700 running at 933. The benchmark shows 2,656,567.18keys/sec for RC5 and 6,566,739.29nodes/sec for OGR. Is it worth it to push the cpu to 980-1000mhz? Right now my cpu is running 1.75v 42C at full load and low 30C idle. I've pushed it up to 980 but at 1.8v but came back down just to be safe. I'm using an Alpha FC-PAL35T with arctic silver.

yeah, go for it. That should keep you system plenty cool. Most people i know only stop at 1.9, so you should be fine. just keep checking the temp for a couple days.
