So digging through my closet yesterday, I came across a P4 3.0E processor and an Asus P4C800 Deluxe board. (yucky I know, but hear me out) Lately I've been thinking about building a Media Center pc to throw in my living room. And I figured I could use these parts.
But here is my concern. "Heat". The case I already have is this one and because of the bar in the middle, an Si-120 won't fit. Do you guys think I can get by with an alternate heatsink? Or should I just order new parts? I'm really that concerned about the heat.
Thanks in advance.
