Omg look at this pc screen : PC PIC

And look at this XBOX360 screen!!! XBOX360 PIC

Look how many zillion more polygons the xbox360 version have woaaa!!!

I took the pc version to show a screenshot because all the screenshot taken on the xbox side are not in good quality.Xbox1 IS able to do 16:9 and display in 480p, which look as good as the PC version.

Shame on you EA.Rather than making the game look like reality or close, its just a tiny upgrade toward your old product.

OMG look at my sig......Ban who??? BAN WHO???

Big deal. Show me pictures of the actual game playing screen. Close up screen shots mean nothing, because how many times do you get that close while playing the game?
QFT! Who the fvck cares about what the players look like? I never got this. They could be fvcking dots and as long as they reacted correctly to fakes, play action, etc. I would be just fine. I used to love the old ESPN vs. Madden threads where everyone would claim ESPN had better graphics. I don't fvcking care.

i guess you missed the part of the thread where this was about the graphics and not the gameplay ...

atleast for me, graphics do matter.

but screenshoots don't mean much. I remember before ps2 came out, they had some pretty amazing screen shoots too.

You would have been better off if your second sentence was:

"What do the *cheerleaders* look like?"

;)

I wasn't even close to amazed by the screenshots from the 360. Like others have said, it's not worth much, you need to see the game in action to decide.

umm...those are just cut scenes...granted they look better than the cutscenes now, but it won't look that good when you're actually playing the game.

the thing is compared to screenshots of other games

it would be a letdown for me if the actual game didn't look better

but madden usually has to cater to the lowest common denominator in order to provide cross platform portability

not sure if this still applies to the next generation systems though

I hope they improve the tackling. With EA it's the same animations over and over and over again. With ESPN the tackling felt so much more realistic.

My question is, why couldn't Sega release a "generic" football game with the ability to create your own skins, stats and logos? Make all of that open source so people could create team packages and download them to create an NFL game. They aren't the one's doing is, the community is. Essentially they could make a "hackable" football game. Sell it with generic teams and allow people to make their own league.

So what would the call the game? Generic Football?

Most people would want to pop in the game and just play, not download an entire team and league from the internet.
