Wow ... this game is REALLY starting to have that next gen feel to it. Check out the pics!

Also check out this link here. They talk a little bit about madden, and also post a link to SUPER hi-res pics that are like 9mb a piece. I dl'ed them, they are worth it. The server is very slow though.

I took the pc version to show a screenshot because all the screenshot taken on the xbox side are not in good quality.Xbox1 IS able to do 16:9 and display in 480p, which look as good as the PC version.

Shame on you EA.Rather than making the game look like reality or close, its just a tiny upgrade toward your old product.

my PC can do 1920x1200 8AA 16AS, even the xbox360 aint got nothing on it.

My point was not to say that the xbox is as good as the PC if you have a bomb, but just to say that the screenshot gamespot took from madden 06 on xbox were crap because i can put that on my television in 16:9 and it look way better than the screenshot they post.

I am just pointing out that madden on xbox360, is really a tiny upgrade...really tiny

I wish Sega was around to drive competition, next generation football would be SO awesome if Sega and EA had to compete.

Madden doesn't need visual upgrades, it needs gameplay upgrades. Franchise mode sucks, Superstar mode in this years game was downright crap. EA needs to make the game more functional, this stupid crap you can do with the right analog stick isn't improving a game, it's just patching it up.

Thats what I was thinking. The crowd needs a lot more diversification, too many of the same few guys repeated over and over.

I agree that the arms and hands look not that great on the 360 verison as well. But EA said its still not final. They said that mid-october they will be releasing MUCH more information on their games, so thats when we can make more judgements.

This is coming from a person who yearly buys Madden for the PC. I'm using the game on my GeForce 6800GT... it's still the same engine as the current-generation consoles. What those two pictures showed... just incredible. Reason enough for me to go out and buy an XBOX 360. And what's bad about the jerseys?

QFT! Who the fvck cares about what the players look like? I never got this. They could be fvcking dots and as long as they reacted correctly to fakes, play action, etc. I would be just fine. I used to love the old ESPN vs. Madden threads where everyone would claim ESPN had better graphics. I don't fvcking care.

heh see my post above

killzone was pre-rendered, which means absolutely nothing. MGS3 is impressive, i definitely agree with that, but as well know, its not running on anything even remotely close to what the PS3 will actually be running on, and the final hardware is a long time away also.

these madden screen shots are running on the xbox360 dev kits, so its the real hardware. and the dev kits aren't even running on the 3 cores yet, they are only running on one of the three cores. pretty impressive IMO.
