New Macs, which Ivybridge chipset? Hackintosh

I'm looking to buy a Ivybridge hackintosh, and I'm wondering which motherboard to get to get the best compatibility with everything.

I saw something about ASUS UEFI bios's being unlockable leading to better compatibility.

What are all the current new things to keep in mind for compatibility?

Wait until next month when OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion is released; should provide better Z77 chipset support (such as the new $2,100 MacBook).
Kakewalk usually supports Gigabyte boards the best.
The author hasn't progressed past supporting Z68 boards at the present.

Some Z77 board support should be added shortly, I'm guessing.
For other brand motherboards, check the insanelymac.com forums:

2nd what vailr said. Wait for Mountain Lion, and beyond that for the OSx86 community to work the bugs out and identify the best z77 board. We're at exactly the same place we were waiting for Sandybridge/Lion.

If you want to forge ahead a little early, you'll probably need tonymac's BridgeHelper. Version 5 just came out. This is the workaround until Apple bakes native Ivybridge drivers into the OS. And yes, stick with Gigabyte. So far the pattern has been that certain Gigabyte boards always work best for Hackintosh- most of the other makes I see that are touted as the next best thing never seem to turn out to be.
