New Machine

Spooner

Where's the best place to buy a whole new machine these days? I dont want to deal too much with picking out components and I'm not much of a power user

Dell? Newegg? HP?

Check Hot Deals. Dell used to be the best, but they're tapering off on the REALLY hot deals. Still, occasionally a good one pops up.

major differences between AMD and Intel these days?

3) Outpost.com has some good deals on refurb HP's which are loaded for $399 - $499.

HP is the #1 computer retailer now aren't they? I have heard their support sucks as much as Dell's though, and they have better monitors.
