New Machine Question....

I'm thinking about building a new "cheap-o" machine that would pretty much just be for ripping dvd's into svcd and cd's into mp3. I'll probably also use this for maybe playing some divx on my TV. I need some advice on which mobo to buy that would preferably have GOOD onboard sound. Also, what cd drive would be a good choice when it comes to audio expraction? Thanks a lot guys.

NForce does sound nice considering that it had most options in it already
I know you asked 4 motherboard, I have a epox 8k7a but i disabled the sound

nForce is really temping but i'm not sure if i really wanna wait for people to try it out to make sure that its everything that it says it is....

Get a mobo with C-media sound onboard. Other than the NForce, it is the best onboard sound.
