What is the best way to set up the laptap so the apple account has access to previously purchased items from itunes? The current apple account with all of the music is on a windows 7 PC with 3 iphones and an ipod having access to the library. Is it best to start fresh and just worry about the macbook and iphone being synced or can I have access to previously purchased items under a different account? I just trying to avoid double purchasing in the future.

to be honest I was drunk when I was setting it up and I created a new apple account thinking I was setting up the icloud for back-up. I suppose I can just change the current account back to the old account and move on from there. I believe I have 2 computers, 3 iphones and several ipods (3).

The Macbook pro is graduation gift for daughter, will this be a problem when it ends up in another state with a different ip address?

Nope. Although you might want her to have her own account since she's, you know, out of the house and stuff.

And I don't think you really want to see her Photo Stream when she starts exploring umm... things...

Set her up her own iTunes account. Make her buy her own stuff.

And if she wants to have some of your stuff, authorize her computer for it out of your pool of 5.

In this scenario, he can still share the existing iTunes account for digital purchases.

His daughter can also have a new account just for iCloud.
