New, lower prices on RX 570 cards... new cards coming real soon now?

The 2070 is also $600. That's twice as much as what AMD can expect to charge for updated Polaris. Since AMD is tied to GF and needs to buy wafers, they're just as well off selling at low margin as not. NVidia is unlikely to want to chase after AMD too hard as it erodes their own higher margin parts after a certain point.

AMD isn't in a place where they can win, but they might be in one where they also don't have anything to lose either.

I expect the. $499/599 2070 to be at 64% on this chart and the $329? cut down 2060 (ti?) to be at 53% .mabe the $240 rx680 at 43%? . Mabe a cheaper $250 2060 at 43%?
Who knows?

Just guessing here, but it would make sense going by history.

How soon are we looking at to start seeing 2060?? If also by next month then I would think that this whole AMD rx 680x thing would be to match/compete with the 2060/2060ti.

Edit for typo..

The 1060 came 5 week's after the 1070, so I'm guessing a 2060 on black Friday or cyber monday? That's November 23/26?

Assuming that the new RX 670 / 680 "reset" the retail price, what will be their MSRPs? Any estimation? I saw someone suggest $240 for the RX 680, with GDDR6 onboard.

If so, I'm going to keep a lookout for some $120-130 RX 570 4GB or even 8GB cards, maybe I can get lucky, some people mentioned seeing RX 470 cards drop that low. (The lowest I saw personally, was around $150, snagged two at that price.)

I figure, at $0.40/day currently, dropping down to $0.30 or even $0.25/day, it will still pay itself off, or at least a good portion, over the winter months. And since I have electric heat, mining on them is "free".

And why would the do that? Would make no sense business wise.

true but it's little benefit for a large investment. The only reason this can pay off for AMD in the big picture is due to the WSA.

Right. I think the only way it happens is to launch some product(s) that work towards fulfilling the WSA, whether re-negotiated or not. ...To that end, it wouldn't shock me in the least to see something like that.
