i watched Mad God - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15090124/reference/
i mean, i sat there while mad god did its thing, then left, and did not expand further.
70+ min long claynimation w/ various miniatures and other practical effects (i mean, nothing mindblowing, but cute), about .. about .. i don't know.
*sigh* there is no dialogue.
Nor is there any attempt to convey a story aside from the visuals. No voiceover, no title cards. There is less dialogue here than in Dernier Combat, but at least, in DC i can LOOK AT HUMAN BEINGS, but no, ooh no. No you gotta stare at a ball of plasticine mounted on some painted plastic cups.
I gather that .. some kind of cataclysm happened. And after this cataclysm, a explorer ventures into the deadlands in search of something. He is captured by the bad guys, at which point the film abandons any pretense of realism and becomes purely abstract, at which point i gave up.
4.5/10 idk i guess if you LOVE stop-motion than yeah, sure, knock yourself out.
